Our horses are not just our job, they are our passion and our lifestyle. We take pride in our horses and work hard to ensure they receive the best of the best. Many of our Westbound horses have been with us for an extended amount of time. Our horses get real life experience out on the ranch, in the roping pen and at a range of events. We believe in a versatile horse and like a horse that can do multiple jobs. You will find that many of our horses excel in multiple areas. Many of our cutters are also great ranch horses and many of our ranch horses are also great in the roping pen.

Chili is no doubt a barn favorite amongst our family including for our 7 yr old daughter. Every part of his demeanor and personality makes him a joy to be around and ride. He is the most pure hearted horse in the barn and is sweet natured as can be. Chili is an outstanding ranch versatility show pen hopeful. We have shown him once so far in a ranch trail class and Chili placed 5th out of 29 horses his first time out. He is a smooth and beautiful mover that will excel in a show career. He is trained in all the maneuvers necessary to head to the show pen in the ranch classes tomorrow and executes them with grace and ease. Chili rides low headed, collected and is a big stopper. He is always gentle and willing, the same horse day in and day out every time you saddle him. Chili also has quite a few miles of ranch experience. We have been using him out on the ranch and in the stockyards. He is fun to sort on and has become well accustomed to the wide open spaces and the tight spaces and commotion of the stockyards. We have worked the cutting flag on him as well as live cattle and have spent a lot of time prepping him to be ready to excel in a career in any direction. This is a quality young gelding that is always a pleasure no matter the weather. He’s completely sound and is sure to please when you get him home. Whether you need a gentle trail horse, a show prospect, a cow-horse, a ranch horse or a heel horse prospect Chili will fit just perfectly! He is selling complete with a current PPE & x-rays!
