Our horses are not just our job, they are our passion and our lifestyle. We take pride in our horses and work hard to ensure they receive the best of the best. Many of our Westbound horses have been with us for an extended amount of time. Our horses get real life experience out on the ranch, in the roping pen and at a range of events. We believe in a versatile horse and like a horse that can do multiple jobs. You will find that many of our horses excel in multiple areas. Many of our cutters are also great ranch horses and many of our ranch horses are also great in the roping pen.

I have the gelding you look for when you’ve got a little boy or little girl who won’t put down a rope and needs to learn to ride and rope the dummy on a saint and soldier of a horse. One they can be on in the roping pen with you and be safe. One that you can trust because he’s seen it all and then some.

This is Herschel, he is THAT horse

He is a retired switchender who was a genuine B.A. (you get the idea ) in his day. He is not 100% sound anymore and it’s time for him to raise a kiddo. We have put a lot of thought into re-homing him and we have decided to, but only to the right home. Ideally a home like described in the first paragraph or as a beginner level lesson horse.

16-17 years old. 15.2 hands tall. Requires reasonable maintenance (shoes on the front and stood up and a supplement) and will make your baby THE BEST of memories. He’s the kind everyone needs at least one of in their lifetime. He has been “in the family” literally and figuratively for most of his life.

He has been rodeoed and jackpotted on, youth rodeoed on, trail rode, been ridden in town and through the Taco Bell drive through and been a lesson horse. He has a heart of gold!
