Consignment Horses

When each of our consignment horses are brought in they are evaluated and treated as one of our own. Upon consignment each horse undergoes a thorough evaluation process for at least 30 days prior to being listed for sale that allows us to adequately get to know them and represent them accordingly. These horses are used, hauled and represented no differently than one of our own.

Ima Basic Playboy

Playboy is the kind of ranch gelding that you want in your string. He is broke and has size. Whether you are making your living from the back of a horse like we do or trail riding for enjoyment and pleasure he fits the bill! Playboy is a seasoned gelding and has been used for every aspect of ranch work there is. It’s created him to be an extremely solid citizen.
Playboy is a bigger gelding standing at 15.2 hands tall and weighing about 1150. He has size and bone and is built to last.
We use him regularly for ranch work as well as in the stockyards. He has carried orphan calves, loaded trucks, caught and loaded cattle, doctored cattle, made big circles gathering cattle and much much more. Playboy is accustomed to being ridden on the outside. He’s seen every kind of terrain here with us you could show one and he is careful with his feet and good about crossing water. He will pick his way through rocks, swampy ground and thick backwoods. No matter where you’re headed you’ll be well mounted. He is easy to catch in the pasture and gets along well with others. Just a very easy keeper that is no trouble at all to have around. He does have one quirk that is easy to work around when you know it’s there. He is cinchy. He will not bite/kick you etc he just likes to be cinched up slow and given a chance to warm up to it. Suede

We absolutely love us some Suede! He is the kindest and most sweet natured gelding in the barn. When you walk out to the barn or the pasture he seeks you out and patiently waits for you to acknowledge him and love on him. He stays broke and gentle and is suitable for any age or ability level of rider.
Suede is just happy to be there! No matter what you’re doing whether he’s doing a job, enjoying a leisurely trail ride or keeping kids busy he is up for the task. He is quite literally the most respectfully personable and laid back gelding. Suede is easy to get along with and just as user friendly as his personality.
Suede’s ground manners are just as good as everything else about him. He is respectful and kind about everything including for the farrier, standing tied and trailering. He is an easy keeper.
From the ranch to the trails and arena he has the whole family covered. He is broke with a good handle and he is safe and gentle in every scenario. He has been used for all aspects of ranch work as well as to babysit the kids when they come with us out on the ranch. I cannot say enough about how phenomenal his demeanor is.
