Maycee Jo’s Ponies

Our daughter Maycee Jo enjoys a wide range of horse related hobbies including barrel racing, ranch rodeo and helping out on the ranch. Her pony Loretta Lynn has been a huge part of her childhood and one of the major stepping stones to creating her love for horses. Therefore, we have a soft spot in our hearts for that “special” kind of pony and we realize just how important a good pony is in creating a lifelong love for horses. Maycee is now 6 and though she is riding her big horses she still very much enjoys her ponies and works hard to bring some of the best, not to mention cutest, ponies out there to the market.

Pockets

31” tall ~ 12 year old ~ Silver Grulla Gelding

Pockets is one of the cutest and most correctly made, not to mention majestic “pocket” ponies I have ever seen!
He is gentle, sweet, well mannered and you just can’t beat his looks! With his perfect conformation, long lane and tail, thick shape, refined head & ears and of course his rare color he is simply the cutest yard ornament ever. He is an ideal companion for human or big horse, has great therapy program potential, is a great starter pony for your littlest cowkids or the cutest yard mascot ever! Depending on the day at our house he rotates between kicking it with the big horses out in the pasture and decorating our front yard. He is easy to catch and is never in a hurry to get anywhere. He stands tied patiently and trailers well.
Pockets is accustomed to the kids playing with him in all capacities and involving him in their shenanigans, just see his video! We do feel he would be a great option for a therapy program that visits facilities as he is very careful with his feet and navigates stairs and terrain changes well. He enjoys treats and loves, but is never pushy and has never bit or kicked. Pockets is an easy keeper and has no special needs. I have attached two sets of photos at different times of the year so you can see the changes in his coat color by season. The photos with a halter are during the winter when he is lighter and the photos without a halter are at the beginning of summer when he is darker.
